I've been using clamav for several monthes. Everything was OK in 0.88
and below, but when trying to update to 0.88.1, clamd refuses to launch
saying :
Fri Apr 7 09:40:07 2006 -> ERROR: Socket file /tmp/clamd could not be
bound: No such file or directory
or whatever file defined as LocalSocket in clamd.conf. With the exact
same config, clamd 0.88 was working perfectly.
After some researches, I came to the conclusion that there was a mistake
in my config file : there was two spaces between the word LocalSocket
and the file name :
LocalSocket /tmp/clamd
^^^^
this causes clamd v0.88.1 to fail launching. This was OK with 0.88
just to let you know.
