I had a colleague question whether Clam was capable of picking up
attachments that are attempting to exploit the more recent Excel Exploit.
http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/18422
I did see this update posted on the 16th, not long after this exploit
was published:
ClamAV database updated (16 Jun 2006 14-21 +0200): daily.cvd
Version: 1546
Submission: 355562
Sender: Ilya Kurlychkin
Added: Trojan.Small-254
Added: Trojan.Dropper.Small-101
Virus name alias: Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Small.aiq (Kaspersky
AVP),
MemScan:Trojan.Jmokimo.A (Bitdefender)
Are these added due in part to these types of attachments that are
discussed in the exploits?
