This thread was originally in dec 2005. I am having the same issue.

When I run a test PDF named testfile_js.pdf this through clamav I
receive the following error message:

<pathToFile>\testfile_js.pdf: Zip module failure ERROR

----------- SCAN SUMMARY -----------
Infected files: 0
Time: 0.145 sec (0 m 0 s)

testfile_js.pdf includes a number of attachments. 4 jpg images and a
PDF attachment. The attached PDF is named bookmarks.pdf and it does not
have any attachments of its own.

I removed the pdf attachment from the testfile_js.pdf and resaved as
testfile_js_carlos.pdf. testfile_js_carlos.pdf passes the virus check
cleanly. I do not know how a PDF stores PDF attachments internally.

Is anyone aware of the cause of this error? Is it a bug or appropriate
behavior etc.

I am using:
- ClamAV/SOSDG for 9x/NT/2k/XP/2003.
        clamdscan.exe -V returns ClamAV devel-20060711/1860/Mon Sep 11
12:34:08 2006
        clamd.exe -V returns ClamAV devel-20060711/1860/Mon Sep 11
12:34:08 2006
- Win XP Pro SP-2

I cannot attach the PDFs because of email size limits - if you would
like to see the PDFs in question I would be more than happy to email
them.

Carlos
