To be even more precise, before I installed version 0.90, I did the
following steps:
* make uninstall && make clean (to remove 0.88.7)
* verified that all traces of 0.88.7 were gone (no confs or binaries)
* extracted 0.90
* did a ./configure --sysconfdir=/etc --disable-zlib-vcheck
-enable-experimental
* followed by make && make install
* verified that the paths that I wanted were correct in the confs
* ran freshclam
That was it. As a side note, the following line gives a "1866
segmentation fault" during scan:
clamscan -l /opt/firewall/log/${SCAN_FILENAME} -r / -i
--exclude="new_id" --exclude="dm_mirror_error_on_log_failure"
--exclude="-virus_scan" --exclude="-fwbackup" --exclude="clamav-"
--exclude-dir="test"
Version 0.88.7 did not segfault using the same line. From what I can
see the man page, the syntax between the two appear to be the same.
