Hi I have several Mailservers running under PostFix/clamav/clamsmtp. Since Update from clamav 0.8x to 0.9.x I have Problems with this configuration It seams that clamav is only able to scan one Mail at the same time.
System ist FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE and Postfix (2.3.7-RC2) with clamsmtp (V 1.8) und clamav (0.90.1) - but error is identical on other Servers with other Postfix and FreeBSD Versions Debugging clamav I got only this error Message - i think its not the Problem LibClamAV debug: Illegal hex character 'G' LibClamAV debug: Illegal hex character '#' LibClamAV debug: Illegal hex character '>' LibClamAV debug: Illegal hex character 'G' LibClamAV debug: Illegal hex character '#' LibClamAV debug: Illegal hex character '>' Under Postfix I got error message thats connection is not possible on socket. 06A5C18C6BF5 26841 Sun Mar 4 00:11:29 [EMAIL PROTECTED] (host 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1] said: 421 4.4.2 mailsecure2.gbc.net Error: timeout exceeded (in reply to end of DATA command)) The important elements from the configs are identical under the 2 Clamav Versions 0.8.x and 0.9.x mailsecure2#./clamconf /usr/local/antivirus/clamav/0.90.1/etc/clamd.conf: clamd directives ----------------- PidFile = "/var/run/clamav/clamd.pid" TCPAddr not set TCPSocket not set LocalSocket = "/var/run/clamav/clamd" MaxConnectionQueueLength = 64 MaxThreads = 50 ReadTimeout = 900 IdleTimeout = 30 FollowDirectorySymlinks = no FixStaleSocket = yes User = "clamav" AllowSupplementaryGroups = no SelfCheck = 7200 VirusEvent not set NodalCoreAcceleration = no .... /usr/local/antivirus/clamav/0.88.7/etc/clamd.conf: ...
