The "funny" part is that freshclam kept reporting that the updates went
OK. (wich was correct, strictly speaking...)
A (much) better way to handle clamd crashes, when it can't be notified,
would be to issue an update failure message.
It seems that 0.90.1 still suffers from similar problems:
