I recently upgraded a linux server running sendmail 8.13.8 with clamav 0.90.1, from 0.88.6. After the upgrade I had dozens of users complaining about getting duped emails, and when I look in the logs I definitely see several transactions between a sender and recipient with the exact same message size. However I don't see any errors at all from sendmail or from the milter.

I've had to disable the milter on that machine to avoid hundreds of messages per day getting duped, and I've been unable to reproduce it myself with complete debugging enabled. There doesn't seem to be a obvious pattern between the duped messages, though I don't have the source to any directly (they vary in size from 2kb to several megs, with and without attachments).

Has anyone else run into the same problem? I'm either going to have to quit running clamav on that box (another box behind runs clamav 0.90.1 via amavis without a problem, so the mail is still being scanned), or downgrade it.
