Ralf,
I'm ClamAv public mirror maintainer. I know what 'OUTDATED' message
means. The problem is a little bit below this point.
Ignoring mirror 10.7.1.27 (too often connections with outdated version)
ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-3708.cdiff from 10.7.1.27
I've never seen this mesage before, so I'm asking. I just believe it
doesn't mean that I HAVE to run the very latest release, because I
cannot afford such behavior. We are using a farm of antivirus/antispam
servers running RedHat's Linux, so I have to manually rebuild RPM
package or wait for somebody to do so every time ClamAV version changes.
If the new behavior is that during this period our databases aren't
updated, I would rather switch to another AV engine and probably stop
running our public mirror at all.
