I'm posting on the list before I file a bug because I'm not sure if this
has been fixed.
Freshclam has code that prevents it from using a given mirror more
often than once every four hours. This code appears to be what
spits out the (HIGHLY misleading!) message:
"too often connections with outdated version"
However, if freshclam has to load a whole bunch of .cdiff files, then
the code to avoid "too often" connections kicks in. It forces each .cdiff
to be downloaded from a different mirror, and if you need more .cdifss than
you have mirrors, you're screwed.
Questions:
1) Am I correctly interpreting freshclam's behaviour? (version 0.90.3)
2) Is this fixed in 0.91.1?
3) If not, is it fixed in the development version?
