Does clamd (0.91.1) have a memory leak of some sort?

After it's started, it takes just about 40-50 MB:

clamav 13602 48.0 8.4 47932 45128 ? Ds 10:38 0:01 clamd
-c /etc/clamd.conf

After some time, the memory usage goes to about 100 MB, machine begins
to swap more and more:

clamav 2004 0.0 17.6 112676 93820 ? Ss Aug10 1:38 clamd
-c /etc/clamd.conf

The pids differ, as I restarted clamd process.

Is it normal that clamd grows so much after a couple of days running?
