Hi everyone, I am using qmail-scanner in conjunction with clamd. Every time, I restart clamd, it works for a little while. Then, it crashes again and again. Here is the error message from the log.
Mon, 03 Dec 2007 09:49:51 EST:18422: --output of clamdscan was: connect(): Connection refused WARNING: Can't connect to clamd. -- Mon, 03 Dec 2007 09:49:51 EST:18422: error_condition: X-Qmail-Scanner-2.01: clamdscan: corrupt or unknown clamd scanner error or memory/resource/perms problem - exit status 512/2 I've changed the permission on everything that is related to clamd to have the same permission with qmail-scanner and softlimit for my qmail is 50MB, none of them can resolve the issue. I've looked everywhere on-line, but still unable to resolve. I know that Clamav is a wonderful anti-virus software. However, I am very close to switch to commercial software because of the clamd crashes when use with qmail-scanner. I desperately need help on this issue. Please help me.
