Hi.

I get these messages on a regular base in freshclam.log

(These only seem to appear after an upgrade of Fedora AND clamav)

WARNING: Clamd was NOT notified: No socket specified in /usr/local/etc/

Looking into the file "/usr/local/etc/clamd.conf" I see:

# Path to a local socket file the daemon will listen on.
# Default: disabled (must be specified by a user)
# LocalSocket /tmp/clamd.socket
LocalSocket /var/clamav/clamd_local.sock

and looking at the directory using "ls -al /var/clamav/" I see:

[root /var/log/clamav] #>ls -al /var/clamav/
total 24
drwx------ 4 clamav clamav 4096 2007-11-30 14:45 .
drwxr-xr-x 32 root root 4096 2007-10-26 15:14 ..
-rw-rw---- 1 clamav clamav 6 2007-11-30 14:45 clamav-milter.pid
srwxr-xr-x 1 clamav clamav 0 2007-11-30 14:45 clamav_milter.sock
srwxrwxrwx 1 clamav clamav 0 2007-11-30 14:45 clamd_local.sock
-rw-rw---- 1 clamav clamav 4 2007-11-30 14:45 clamd.pid

So what am I doing wrong?
Jobst
