Hi. I get these messages on a regular base in freshclam.log
(These only seem to appear after an upgrade of Fedora AND clamav) WARNING: Clamd was NOT notified: No socket specified in /usr/local/etc/ Looking into the file "/usr/local/etc/clamd.conf" I see: # Path to a local socket file the daemon will listen on. # Default: disabled (must be specified by a user) # LocalSocket /tmp/clamd.socket LocalSocket /var/clamav/clamd_local.sock and looking at the directory using "ls -al /var/clamav/" I see: [root /var/log/clamav] #>ls -al /var/clamav/ total 24 drwx------ 4 clamav clamav 4096 2007-11-30 14:45 . drwxr-xr-x 32 root root 4096 2007-10-26 15:14 .. -rw-rw---- 1 clamav clamav 6 2007-11-30 14:45 clamav-milter.pid srwxr-xr-x 1 clamav clamav 0 2007-11-30 14:45 clamav_milter.sock srwxrwxrwx 1 clamav clamav 0 2007-11-30 14:45 clamd_local.sock -rw-rw---- 1 clamav clamav 4 2007-11-30 14:45 clamd.pid So what am I doing wrong?
