Hi,
Judging by the fact that the rpm's you have installed are el4 arch, I am
assuming you are using RHEL, Centos, or another distro which is designed to be
binary compatible.

Would it not just be easier to use Yum or similar package manager from your
distro? Import Dag's repo details (he provides an RPM for this), then every time
you come to upgrade clam, you could you "yum upgrade clam", and have it taken
care of for you.

I have 0.90 version installed on my mail server, rpms installed are:
# rpm -qa | grep clam
clamav-0.90-1.el4.rf
clamav-db-0.90-1.el4.rf
clamd-0.90-1.el4.rf
clamav-devel-0.90-1.el4.rf
clamav-milter-0.90-1.el4.rf

Noticed that in following warning message is coming under:
/var/log/clamav/freshclam.log log file

I did download the new version rpms from
http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/clamav/

clamav-0.92-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
clamav-devel-0.92-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
clamd-0.92-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
clamav-db-0.92-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
clamav-milter-0.92-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm  urls

1. now in which order am i suppose to install them?
2. shall i use "rpm -ivUh" or U is not needed here?
3. any other tips to get the new version installed on my machine?
