I think you will have problems scanning PST files properly anyway, even if the size is much smaller. A scan may find virii, but how do you expect Clamav to deal with it? Best to scan a bunch of files that are each individually email files. It is my understanding that Clamav isn't suitable for scanning mbox files without treating the whole file as one (ie not as a collection of emails).
