Hi Folks, This should be the last update of this script for awhile, unless issues are reported. I've started a new job and the project schedule is going to be quite intense for the next 6 months to a year.
Anyway, people have been asking for a script that can create ClamAV hexadecimal signature database files, so I decided to add that functionality to the script. Usage details can be viewed by executing the script with the '-m' flag (clamav-unofficial-sigs.sh -m). Here is what's changed in this release (from the CHANGELOG): Version 3.5 (updated 2009-05-25) - Added the '-m' flag that will make a hexadecimal signature database file (*.ndb) from a clear text, ascii source file that contains one data string entry per line that will then be converted into signature lines in the new database file. - Added the new INetMsg SpamDomains database to the config file. - Updated the INSTALL, README and manual page. The only change made to the config file is the addition of the new INetMsg SpamDomains signature database. However, don't try using it until Steve has announced to the list that it is available, otherwise you will experience errors. The updated tarball can be downloaded from: http://www.inetmsg.com/pub/clamav-unofficial-sigs.tar.gz As usual, let me know if there are any issues, suggestions, or feature requests.
