Sarge? Sarge is obsolete for over two years. Etch (next version) is obsolete
for two months. Lenny is the current version.

You should read at least debian-announce and debian-security announce, if
you want to keep up. Both lists are quite low-traffic.

If you want to stay up with current version of packages, you should also
read debian-volatile

this is not the warning.

They apparently wanted them to upgrade to newer version of clamav.

I guess you are using volatile (0.92.1 vas in volatile for sarge), the
version in volatile works, both for etch and lenny.
