configure options.
./configure --disable-clamav --prefix=/usr/local/clamav
--disable-shared
and copy only the freshclam binary to another system which I use for
downloading the signature files.

As long as you only get this on the system running freshclam, and not
on the system running clamscan/clamd then it is OK.
Just make sure your scanning system doesn't show this error (you need
to run clamscan to test that, clamd redirects stderr to /dev/null).
