Hello All,

Updated two Centos 5 servers a few days ago to 5.5. samba-vscan-clamav
has worked fine for three years on both of these servers. After all
packages updated I am receiving the following error in the
clamd.log, although I am not sure what package update is actually causing
the error. I have searched the samba mailing lists first and have NOT
found anyone that has the vscan-clamav module working after doing the
5.x to 5,5 update Centos. Sure would like to get this functioning again
before school starts in a few weeks.
I have recompiled the samba-vscan module after samba updated and
compiles without errors,FYI.
If anyone would like I can email them the samb-vscan tar.gz that I am
using to look at the code, just for kicks.
samba-vscan3.6c-R5

Error:

  WARNING: lstat() failed on: .//save.txt

Notice the .//

It appears either the new clamd(0.96-1) or (more likely) the samba-vscan
module can not recurse/find the file path correctly?

Lesson learned .Let a sleeping dog lie,,, .

Thanks,
Barry
