Hi Dennis,
If any FP's are reported here:
false_positive AT sanesecurity DOT me DOT uk
And surely the process works, but there was period several weeks back
where they were hitting several times a day. I looked at the patterns
and realized the problem was with the pattern method - they were far to
general, throwing far too large a net. That is to say, I lost confidence
in the source.
Considering the source, I couldn't care less. He's simply one of those that
offers nothing back to the open source community that he gains so much from, but
bitches constantly about what others provide freely, even though he used it in a
way that was not recommended in the first place.
Every company I've worked for has donated to this project and other open source
projects dating back to 1995. I've never attempted to take credit for that, but
that has consequences, it seems. Don't be so bitter - you've done well by me,
too, and I continue to recommend your signatures even though they haven't worked
out well for my clients.
