I receive .UNOFFICIAL reports too, which aren't produced by Sanesecurity,

This page shows FP contact details for all the .UNOFFICIAL ones

A small suggestion.... could Luca now modify the SI to report any
.UNOFFICAL fp's direct to the above contacts and a copy to myself?
In that way, it keeps the ClamAV team free from the "daily annoyances" and
directs the problem report direct to the people that can do something
about it.
Good idea, so even if the users don't know where the sig comes from, an FP
submitted to the wrong place would eventually get to the right place.
I'm glad someone is thinking about the right way to do this.
I would recommend a roles oriented distribution list operated by ClamAV rather
than absolute addressing to any individual, and that the 3rd party providers
subscribe to that list (and obviously unsubscribe should it become needed). That
is if ClamAV peeps have any interest at all in supporting the excellent 3rd
party vendors in an organized way. The objective is to continue FP support for
3rd party products an accommodate the possibility that people come and go.
For example: [email protected] (spam safe example) where example.com is the list
server and only the list server op knows how that resolves but hopefully would
get to Steve and other vendors, and so not require any knowledge of the activity
behind the curtain by userland peeps.
