HI all,
I have a question about ClamFS, and I hope I don't upset anyone asking my
question in this mailing list. Sorry if I offend.
I have ClamFS running with Clamav, to give real time protection for a samba
file server.
Once I got everything working ok, I tried copying the eicar test virus to the
samba share from a windows xp computer. The test virus file is allowed to be
copied to the share :(BUT, no further action is permitted on the file, other
than deleting it.The clamfs.log file reports the file is infected.
I was hoping that clamfs would stop the eicar test virus file form being copied
in the first place.
Any suggestions welcome.
Again I'm sorry to be asking this question on the clamav user's mailing list,
I"ve had no luck tracking down a clamfs forum or mailing list.
Merry Christmas Everyone, And a happy new year :)
Regards,Stephen.
