Subject: [clamav-users] Which is the current stable release?
I was at the clamav.net website and noticed that it shows clamav is
0.97.6 is the current release http://www.clamav.net/lang/en/ but on
the
download clamav website it show 0.97.5
http://www.clamav.net/lang/en/download/sources/.
Also I looked at the clamav logs it showed that my current version
0.97.5 was outdated earlier today but now that outdated message
disappeared so what gives.
Will the real current release of clamav stand up.
Thank you,
Frank

Now I see it on source forge page but the www.clamav.net download
(http://www.clamav.net/lang/en/download/sources/) page still show 0.97.5
and the link to the signature still links to 0.97.5.
Someone need to update this page and the links so they aren't confused.
IIRC it took a couple of days for them to get all that updated with 0.97.5.
The current version is 0.97.6, a message was sent to clamav-announce earlier
today. We'll send the announcement to clamav-users in the future if that would
help.
The clamav.net website should now show 0.97.6 as being the current version on
the home page, we appear to have some page caching issues with
http://www.clamav.net/lang/en/download/sources/ at the moment, but it should
also reflect the correct version shortly.
Apologies for any confusion.

Everything looks okay now. www.clamav.net webapges are showing 0.97.6 as
the stable version and download page shows the same thing.
It was slightly confusing this morning (at least here in California).
Thank you,
Frank
