I can build with llvm enabled on Solaris 10 i386 with gcc 4.7.1 but on sparc it says: checking for supported OS... configure: error: Unsupported CPU for JIT: sparc, not building LLVM Can you, or someone else, explain what this llvm does? Is it a performance thing?
