Hi, On most systems, this isn’t a ClamAV question, but a system logger question. So, your question might be better addressed to a mailing list for your operating system. Otherwise, you’ll need to at least tell us the following:
1. What is your operating system? 2. Where are you saving your log files? 3. What’s the current log rotation strategy? 4. How is your log rotation configured? > On 25 Apr 2015, at 09:58, Dale Carter <[email protected]> wrote: > > In order for ClamAv to be considered PCI Compliant the logs need to be kept > for 12 months, preferably on a remote server. > > How do I configure logs to be kept for this long or is there a way to do it > using rsyslog to a remote server for ClamAV > > If anyone has configured these settings before, it would be a big help. > > Thanks > > Dale > _______________________________________________ > Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: > https://github.com/vrtadmin/clamav-faq > > http://www.clamav.net/contact.html#ml -- Ian Eiloart Postmaster, University of Sussex +44 (0) 1273 87-3148 _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: https://github.com/vrtadmin/clamav-faq http://www.clamav.net/contact.html#ml
