The clamav pieces for CentOS (which actually come from EPEL) are
broken up into different RPMs so, as noted, you can install what you
need. You can use the yum "whatprovides" sub-command to see the
needed RPM if some piece seems to be missing. The yum "search"
sub-command will let you find a full list of the "clam" packages.
