Anyway.... still looking for answers to why the comparison in the
original example is so high

it's not about their signatures alone - it's about clamav at all because also the memory usage of 3rd party signatures is higher than any other malware scanner on this planet

that maybe would fine if clamav would have the best hitrate, but by far it don't
