Hello,
I would like to use clamdscan to scan an entire server but exclude sys,
proc and dev. If I start it with "clamdscan /" I get a lot of error
messages for sys and I do not want this to clutter my logs. I have
searched in the clamav-user-archive and have found this thread: https:/
/lists.gt.net/clamav/users/16705, but the information found in it is
somewhat outdated.
Is there currently a way to exclude directories in clamdscan? I have
tried adding an exclude path to /etc/clamav/clamd.conf as well as
excluding sys as an option when invoking clamdscan. Both do not work.
I would like to use clamdscan because it can trigger a VirusEvent and
send me an email when something is found. As an alternative: Is there a
way to trigger a VirusEvent or execute a script when using clamscan
(and not clamdscan) ?
