We do see occasional check timeout failures in our build system but haven't
seen any real failures with make check otherwise.
I’m getting intermittent test failures on CentOS 7 as well. Very annoying
having to chance the tests when rebuilding an RPM.

The same test on a faster machine (XEON based) completes without error.
So, the 'T' parameter seems to be needed when having a system that is
not so fast as the latest CPU's. But, no idea what that parameter should be.
