Hi, I've read the mailing list threads about this enough to know where the ClamAV developers seem to stand on this topic.. :(
It's pretty surprising that the defacto OSS enterprise AV solution for Linux cannot be built with full features on a standard fully patched EL7.7 box. We discussed this today now that 0.102 has hit EPEL and all of our previously functional OnAccess scanning is now non-functional... According to the libcurl documentation ACTIVESOCKET[1] was introduced in curl 7.45.0 as a replacement for the merely deprecated LASTSOCKET[2] because LASTSOCKET[2] doesn't work on win64. Was there any consideration to compile-time selection of libcurl's ACTIVESOCKET[1] vs. LASTSOCKET[2] in ClamAV 0.102 based on what version of libcurl was found? https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/CURLINFO_ACTIVESOCKET.html https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/CURLINFO_LASTSOCKET.html _______________________________________________ clamav-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.clamav.net/mailman/listinfo/clamav-users Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: https://github.com/vrtadmin/clamav-faq http://www.clamav.net/contact.html#ml
