Maybe its fixed, maybe not, I ran dpkg-reconfigure on it and selected unix sockets. then restarted both, but there is still no /var/run/clamav/clamd.ctl file. But procmail is using clamdscan, not clamd. And its silently diverting stuff to /var/mail/virii occasionally. I *think* that's a success clue.
