Hi Starting July 25th we've seen the time taken to complete a scan of our system double, jumping from 15 hours up to 34. We haven't changed the system's configuration, and the number of files scanned and total size has remained relatively constant.
fwiw - We've seen similar here. We do a lot of ad-hoc scans of files etc.
The increase in scan time correlates with an update of the daily database from version 27709 to 27710.
Since around this change we've noticed a lot of latency on systems ahead of clamav - which seems to be caused by scans slowing down - and massively increased load averages on the scanning machines themselves :(
