that is sad news indeed. i had hoped that clamav would run as well on windows as it does on *nix. judging by the total lack of response to your thread, it seems that this app is not adequately supported. you might try clamwin. it isn't great, but it does use the clamav libraries, and you can set it to scan at regular intervals. unfortunately no on demand scan, which is what i had hoped to get from clamav for win.
