I seeking a recent PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics to work as a post-doc on
 an NIH funded project 'Statistical Methods for Recursively Partitioned Trees'.
 This grant continues the work described in Shannon, W., Banks, D., (1999)
 "Combining classification trees using maximum likelihood estimation",
 Statistics In Medicine, 18, pp. 727-740.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

        1. Advanced statistical computing including SAS, S-Plus, C, C++, or
 FORTRAN, and UNIX

        2. Experience as indicated by publications and dissertation in the area
 of statistical cluster and classification analysis (previous work on recursive
 partitioned trees especially valuable).

Candidates without peer-reviewed publications and demonstrated ADVANCED
 COMPUTING skills will not be considered. Opportunities for some biostatistical
 consulting on biomedical research being done at Washington University School of
 Medicine are available for interested candidates, but is not a requirement for
 this post-doc.
