Dear Prof Sclove, On January 8, 2007, I did retire from my job at SAS Institute in Cary NC. Since then I'm living in Heidelberg, Germany, where we my wife works and we bought some property in 1999. In the meantime I got a membership of the Classification Society for a reduced membership fee as a retired person. I'm not out of Science since I still work on my own software CMAT and as an Associate editor of the JSS. Since I do not have a current income and I'm still member of three other societies incl. that of the German Classification Society, I would like to cancel my membership in the North American CA.
