11-15 July 2011, University of St Andrews, Scotland Over 75 papers in the scientific programme with 150 contributing authors. Delegates attending ICC 2011 will represent 20 national societies of the International Federation of Classification Societies. The Conference incorporates a special Symposium on Bourdieu and Geometric Data Analysis. There will be a workshop leading in to this Symposium on Monday 11 July and a free copy of SPAD software will be available for every participant. The Conference will be addressed by Grace Solomonoff, whose late husband Ray Solomonoff was a founder of the field of artificial intelligence and in particular an inventor of Kolmogorov algorithmic information theory. There will be invited presentations by Adrian Raftery, on model-based clustering, and by Keith van Rijsbergen, on clustering and classification in information retrieval. ---------------------------------------------- CLASS-L list.
