Not sure how many of you are aware of this website, so thought I'd throw it up on here. It's basically a collection of taped live concerts. The selection of artists is a wee bit limited, because it only lists 'Tape Friendly' artists (i.e. those that don't mind you downloading their live shows). There's a massive amount of Grateful Dead on there for instance. I first found it a few years back when I wanted a mate to listen to some Hayseed Dixie (!) but thought about it again recently after reading the article in the previous issue of CR about Rose Hill Drive, and how they were supporting all the jam bands and getting taped. I wondered if they had wound up on this site and, hey presto, there they are.
As I say, the selection of artistes is a bit wierd but there's some Little Feat, Ryan Adams, Jefferson Starship, Drive-By Truckers, Rose Hill Drive, Warren Zevom, all the way to Death Cab For Cutie and shed loads of Smashing Pumpkins (plus Zwan if you're into that sort of thing!). It can't hurt to have a gander... All the best to all, hp. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "classic rock magazine readers" group.
