caught the above in Tampa last night. First time for KISS as headliners (saw them at their low ebb at donington '86) and was a good show, but certainly not worth the $150 dollars a ticket, interesting to note that the venue wasn't sold out (9/10 full maybe). Buckcherry were on form playing a lot of their newer stuff. KISS played a lot of early and relatively obscure early set but played a lot of their classics later on. Major low point....solos....does any body go for em? unless your name is bonzo, steve via, tommy aldrige..then please do not attempt........ can see why the 'yanks' are waistband challenged though, at any venue in scotland you are lucky to get a greasy burger on the way out of the venue. here was wall to wall food joints, pizza, dogs, ribs, burgers, steaks, anything you can think of. The first time at a gig I have seen a bloke in front of me leaving and returning with a fully loaded nachos tray, half way through the gig.... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "classic rock magazine readers" group.
