Raimar, the project is still going on. I don't know what everyone else
is up to, but I am working on the AWT.
I recall getting some suggestions from you before which I applied, but
email sent to you bounced everytime I tried. Hopefully this will get
through.
Your suggestion looks good to me. I am probably the one who wrote the
code in question. This should be put into our bugs file for fixing
at some point.
