Yes, I've been incredibly slow to do it... fixing build issues,
getting the regular AWT working, and making a release which works with
some VM (Japhar or Kaffe) are of higher priority at the moment.
Someone else has written a gtk theme but it is not free software
(binary only). The URL you sent doesn't mention whether or not the
work will be released as free software... so it may not be of use
either. The main point was to figure out the workings of Basic L&F
from extending it.
