I read through this. It is definitely better than what we've got now, and it would let us implement guessContentTypeFromStream (which I just marked as a stub in my tree). However this is more than I want to do at the moment. Also the code is LGPL. This isn't a big deal really. I think we would have to import it into our repository as at least the reference implementation does not do releases. Anyway, thanks for pointing this out. I will file a bug report about it and stick it on my integration list. Tom
