Hello, classpath people!

I discovered your project recently, and would like to make you aware of
a couple of things which might help.

Firstly, I have been writing a (prototype) Java to C compiler, and have
put together a small class library for it, covering (what I consider to
be) the most useful parts of java.lang, java.io and java.util. I was
intending to gradually extend this to cover the rest of the standard
libraries, but, now that there are multiple free Java class library
projects on the go, this is beginning to seem pointless -- I'll
probably switch to one of the free libraries sometime. In the
meantime, my classes are GPLed (though I'd be quite willing to change
them to LGPL if it would help) and are currently available at:

 ftp://ftp.debian.org/pub/debian/dists/slink/main/source/devel/bock_0.11.tar.gz

(The version number may change.)

Feel free to use them if you think any of my implementations are
better, or take my versions as starting points for classes you haven't
done yet, or just nick my ideas if there are any worth having.

Secondly, there is a Public Domain collection of classess implementing
the X protocol at <URL:http://www.cs.umb.edu/~eugene/XTC/>. It seems
to do roughly the same job as Xlib, but is written in Java, and needs
no native methods. You might find this useful in implementing GUI
classes.

Cheers,
