Well I've been hacking C code for quite some time, and I've been working with java for about a year and a half, although not too intesely, I like to think I know my way around the language, and I definately understand the paradigm, and how it's constructed, etc. A few questions that I was not able to locate answers to on the main site: What language will this primarily be implemented in? C or java? And if java, how do you get around using Sun's classes if you're trying to implement your own? It seems to me to present a chicken-and-egg problem. I am very interested in contributing in any way I can, as I have leeched enough free software to know that it's time to pay back, (even if I don't have to, the project is damn interesting anyway) so if you're looking for a documentation gnome, a coder that can review things, etc, I can try to help to the best of my abilities.
