Ad hominem attacks are not appropriate for this list, nor will they be
tolerated.  However, you're incorrect.  I did work on the early Linux
releases.

In fact, Linux only exists because Linus was unaware of BSD.  He
wanted a free Unix, and had he known of BSD, he would have not
reinvented the wheel.

An ``Open Java Windowing System'' is outside the scope of the GNU
Classpath project.  Classpath's AWT is designed to work well in a GNU
system.  Such a setup means working on top of X11 -- not under it.
