More java.net changes are in. I moved the protocol handlers from the main
gnu.java.net package into a gnu.java.net.protocol package. (This is similar
to how the JDK works). I also added a protocol handler for the "file"
protocol. Additionally, I corrected a few more spec incompatibilities.
On an unrelated topic. If you are planning on trying out the build
procedure, you will need the latest and greatest Japhar from CVS. My Japhar
was two weeks old and it still didn't work (japhar-config needed updating).
Also, Brian, I notice that even when you specify a version of javac to use
for compiling, the new build setup uses japhar. Since I have japhar
configured for debugging and logging, this makes things really slow. (Not
to mention that Japhar bombed during the compile).
Finally, I downloaded JavaDeps 2.0.2 and it didn't work worth a damn. It
generated totally incorrect dependency info for me. OTOH, I fell back to
1.0.4 and everything pretty much worked. I didn't even need to copy the
vm/reference items any longer.
