As you have probably seen, Japhar 0.07 will be out any minute. I will put
out a release of Classpath shortly thereafter. Please test it and let me
know if there are any serious problems before I announce it to the world.
Please do me a favor and don't check in any changes that are likely to break
things.
Going forward, we should be careful that any changes made to "core" classes
work with the Japhar+Classpath combo, not just with the JDK. A change made
that works with the JDK can expose a bug or unimplemented function in
Classpath. Sometimes that can be a bad thing. I'd put all classes in the
java.{io,lang,lang.reflect,net,util} in this category as lots of
functionality depends on those classes working. Of course if you know you
are breaking something and feel you need to for some reason, that might be a
different case.
