HP just made an announcement that they are contributing the test cases
for their clean room Java project to the Mauve free test suite. You can
view a CNET article on this at:

http://www.news.com/News/Item/0,4,33710,00.html?st.ne.lh..ni

There is a mention of Classpath! We had better deliver good stuff now
that there is an official mention of us someplace.

There is also an article on this on slashdot.org.

Anthony Green at Cygnus is working on a Mauve contribution doc. I hope
this is done soon because Mauve looks to be a pretty cool project, at least
for something that is a test suite. The framework is decent and my tests
have shrunk considerably in size as much of the junk I had in there was
already handled by the framework.

You don't have to wait for anything from Anthony to start using/writing
Mauve test stuff though. Check out the project homepage at:

http://sourceware.cygnus.com/mauve/

and download the code from CVS. There are mailing lists too if you are
interested.

I am available to answer any questions you might have on this. I can
track down answers if I don't know them.
