two quick comments:

Your technical comments/concerns may be best addressed to the mauve mailing
list: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Your concerns about the GPL/LGPL may be best addressed to the copyright
holders.  Ask them whether you can or cannot use the test harness to test
LGPL or even proprietary classes.  Do not rely on your own or someown
else's (i.e., someone who's not the copyright holder) interpretation.
