Ok, a couple status updates. Daniel Rall has finised EventListener,
EventObject, Observable, and Observer in java.util.
Next, Greg Smith is alive and doing well. In fact, he's doing so well
that he isn't going to be able to help out with java.applet after all
because he is so busy with all the exciting happenings in his life.
So I went ahead and wrote the java.applet package, which is now done.
Note that this is only a tiny fraction of what Greg wanted to do. He
wanted to build an appletviewer. The applet classes themselves are
pretty much worthless alone. But the package was small and doing it
makes me look productive in front of you all. :-)
