I assume this means we'll end up linking against things like libjpeg?
Personally, I'd like to make sure that if various libraries such as
that do not exist, Classpath still compiles.  I tried downloading
Gnumeric in order to try it out, but I need to pull in all of the
sixty zillion Gnone libraries and third party libraries to make it
work so I gave up.  I'd hate to see Classpath with that kind of
dependencies.
