I found this offhand comment in an article where Oracle is calling for Java to be open source. http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,2162787,00.html. "Sun did not return phone calls seeking comment, although the company has committed to allowing non-licensees to help define Java and will announce details soon." Maybe that also means they'll let non-licensees that pass JCK *be* Java. --John Keiser
